That’s no longer the case with the truly innovative Yard Force Compact 300RBS – just set a programme and it will depart its base station on the days and at the times you’ve set. Once it’s finished, or if it rains – or runs low on charge – it will return to base of its own accord.

The Yard Force Compact 300RBS Automatic Robot Mower is fitted with three super-sharp steel mulching blades that will shred grass-clippings as they swirl around under the cutter-deck. The powerful airflow created by the blades will then force the resulting mulch into the turf, leaving you with a naturally nourished and pretty much debris-free lawn.

It features Yard Force’s advanced i-Radar technology, whereby a series of ultra-sonic sensors detect obstacles up to 60cm away, thereby enabling it to avoid them; and it’s fitted with tilt/lift sensors, which will bring the blade to an immediate halt should the unit be tilted or picked-up, in turn ensuring the safety of children and pets.

An adjustable height-of-cut (20 to 55mm) means you can start high, and then gradually lower the blade-position until you’ve achieved the finish you’re looking for; a super-efficient brushless motor offers impressive longevity and work to extended runtimes by minimising battery drain-rate.

This compact, 16cm model can handle slopes up to 30% and comes with a powerful, durable and fast-charging 20v (2Ah) lithium-ion battery-pack from Samsung.

Installation takes on average just 45 minutes.
