STIHL SH 86 C-E Handheld Garden Vacuum-Shredder

The STIHL SH 86-CE is not just for getting-rid of fallen leaves during the autumn – it’s also suitable for the disposal of hedge trimmings, twigs, grass clippings and similar organic garden debris throughout the year!

Its powerful 1.1hp (27.2cc) two-stroke engine employs Stihl’s stratified charge technology, which not only reduces fuel consumption by up to 20 percent, but also significantly lessens the emission of harmful exhaust particulates.

A manual fuel primer ensures ignition from cold won’t prove a problem; ErgoStart means minimal pulling force is required to get the engine going.

Equipped with a rugged shredding impellor, the STIHL SH 86-CE Vacuum Shredder reduces the volume of vacuumed debris to around a tenth of its original volume, in turn saving space in the collection bag (the resulting mulch makes a great composting material).

The inclusion of both a round tube and a flat curved tube makes it possible to convert your machine into a powerful blower for shepherding debris prior to vacuuming.

Combining weight-reduction measures with a shoulder strap and an ergonomic soft-grip handle, the STIHL SH 86-CE is ideal for long periods of continuous use (it weighs just 5.6kg).

STIHL’s advanced four point anti-vibration system ensures very little strain is placed upon the operator’s hands and arms.

A gutter-cleaning kit can be purchased as an optional accessory.
