Power from its high-powered 600w motor is sent to the blades via two-stage reduction gearing that works to maximise torque, in turn ensuring you’ll be able to tackle the thickest growth with absolute confidence (the cutting-capacity is 36mm).
The blades themselves are laser-cut from hardened-steel, so they won’t flex or warp; and they’ve been ground using diamond discs so as to ensure an ultra-sharp and long-lasting cutting-edge.
The STIHL HSE-71/28 Electric Hedgetrimmer features a five-stage ‘twist’ handle that can be rotated through 180°, so you can achieve the safest and most comfortable trimming-angle.
Handling is further enhanced by the machine’s considered ergonomics and low-weight construction (only 4.4kg).
