Driving it is a very high-powered 19.2hp (688cc) Honda GXV630 OHV V-Twin engine that’s been developed specifically for commercial use; and which boasts a high-efficiency head design for a smoother idle and increased power at low revs. A dual-element air-filter and forced lubrication combine to maximise service-life.

The chassis on the Stiga Park 900 WX 4WD Ride-On Lawnmower pivots at the midway point between the front- and rear-wheels, thereby minimising the turning-circle, which in turn makes it possible to mow around obstacles with speed and precision. This articulated steering technology also means the back wheels will follow exactly the same path the front wheels do, so you’ll be able to focus on your cutting-path rather than worrying about the back-end tipping onto flowerbeds or catching trees and outbuildings.

The Stiga Park Pro 900 WX Ride-On Lawnmower utilises an out-front deck-design that not only allows you to mow awkward areas, like under low shrubs and overhanging branches, but also provides a clearer view of the deck for more accurate results.

Equipped with a powerful 4WD transmission, the Stiga Park Pro 900 WX 4WD Front-Cut Ride-On Lawnmower can be used on the sort of demanding terrain that would be too much for a conventional ride-on to handle. The drive is hydrostatic, so ground-speed adjustment is smooth and intuitive.

So as to ensure high levels of operator comfort, Stiga have furnished the Park Pro 900 WX with hydraulic assisted steering, a suspended high-back seat, electric height-of-cut adjustment (electric deck only) and an electro-magnetic PTO clutch (cruise-control is optional).

A massive 15-litre fuel tank delivers a faster work rate, as breaks for refilling will be few and far between; Stiga’s provision of an LED headlamp facilitates safe operation when the light’s against you.

Also worth noting is the split differential, which works to eliminate wheel spin and the inevitable scuffing that results; and the hour metre, which makes it easy to keep track of when the next service is impending.

The powerful engine on this model makes it suitable for use with any of Stiga’s Combi (mulching/rear-discharge) cutter-decks. The following decks are offered:
