Producing that power is a 656cc Briggs & Stratton 7220 EXi Professional Series™ engine, which combines a V-Twin cylinder configuration with OHV technology to deliver commercial-grade low-end torque, impressive fuel economy and super-smooth, low-noise operation.

A float-feed carburettor optimises fuel delivery for ultra-dependable starting; a cast-iron cylinder-sleeve and five-stage cyclonic air-filter work to maximise engine-life.

The Simplicity Regent SLT175 V-Twin Garden Tractor is supremely manoeuvrable, with its infinitely variable foot-pedal hydrostatic transmission and best-in-class 36cm turning-radius making the negotiation of obstacles and landscaping a breeze (the transmission is from Tuff-Torq®, so long-term reliability is assured).

It’s fitted with a highly productive 107cm CentreCut™ deck that's made from fabricated steel for rugged durability (the deck floats so as to follow the ground contours), and which is both side-discharge- and mulch-capable, meaning it can be configured for both fine lawns and informal long-grass areas. Thanks to Simplicity’s Quick-Hitch™ system, the deck is quickly and wasily removed ready for work with any of the trailed attachments available through MowDirect.

Electronic PTO engagement means you can set the blades spinning at the touch of a dashboard-mounted button; a cruise-control function lets you give your foot and ankle a rest when the situation allows.

Also important on the Regent SLT175 is its innovative – and unique – rear suspension, which smooths-out the bumps, and makes the drive a whole lot more comfortable when operating on rough ground.
