Feider FBT400 Heavy-Duty Petrol Chipper-Shredder

The Feider FBT400 Petrol Chipper-Shredder offers the ideal combination of powerful performance and rugged build-quality, and has been designed to process all manner of garden-debris, from leaves, grass-clippings and hedge-cuttings, through to pine-cones, twigs and almost log-sized branches (up to a hefty 10.2cm in diameter).

That powerful performance is thanks to its large-displacement 420cc air-cooled four-stroke engine that develops an impressively beefy 15hp; and which boasts a large 6.5-litre-capacity petrol-tank that works with fuel-saving OHV technology to ensure you’ll enjoy long periods of uninterrupted operation.

This pro-grade model has been equipped with a pair of High-Strength Steel (HSS) chipping-blades - HSS can withstand higher temperatures than conventional carbon-steel and is therefore capable of executing more cuts per minute, thereby delivering a faster throughput-rate and increased productivity.

The FBT400 is fitted with two input chutes; a smaller-aperture chute for simple branch in-feed; and a larger-aperture chute for depositing shovelfuls of green waste.

It benefits from a belt-drive that means the very worst damage a blockage will do is a snapped belt (rather than a catastrophic bent crank); and it sits on substantial, widely-spaced pneumatic-tyred wheels for easy manoeuvrability and rock-solid stability during use.
