Providing that petrol-matching power is a 40v (4Ah) lithium-ion battery pack that’s characterised by its short charge-times and extended run-times, and which will maintain its charge-level during periods of inaction.

The battery (and charger) must be purchased separately and can then be used with any of the tools in Energizer’s® 40v one-battery-fits-all range.

The Energizer® BEN 40v Cordless Brushcutter is a two-in-one machine, with its 26cm line-head ideal for the post-mowing tidy along lawn-edges and fence-lines. The 33cm three-tooth metal blade is suitable for heavier-duty jobs, such as clearing weeds, bramble and nettle-patches.

A rugged, induction-type motor provides enhanced overload capacity and delivers high-torque performance; while Energizer’s provision of twin speed-settings and an ECO mode works to ensure you'll be able to manage the rate at which the battery drains.

Already excelling in terms of user-comfort thanks to its low-weight build and ‘loop-and-bar’ handle, the Energizer BEN comes also features a fatigue-limiting shoulder harness.
