If you need to clear areas of long grass and overgrown vegetation that would be too big to tackle with a handheld brushcutter, then this heavy-duty wheeled brushcutter from Efco provides the perfect solution.
It’s driven by a beefy 189cc Subaru EA190V engine; a power-unit often used on wheeled trimmers due to its very high-torque performance. Thanks to its advanced design, the EA190V engine is clean-running, quiet in operation and cheap to run.
The Efco DR51-S6 Wheeled Brushcutter has a single-speed power-drive, so adverse terrain can be negotiated with ease.
Its front-mounted dolly-wheel provides an ultra-tight turning circle and agile manoeuvrability; while its very large-diameter rear-wheels aid turning in long grass and increase grip when operating in damp conditions.
This model also features an adjustable cutting-height, which is controlled by a lever conveniently positioned on the handgrip. Its 51cm width-of-cut makes it ideal for areas up to 2000m2.

A Good, Solid, No Frills Workhorse.Review by Alan Beattie / (Posted on 16/07/2017)For use on a rather scruffy, overgrown small holding, this mower has quickly proved itself. Handles pretty much anything you throw at it, although denser vegetation does require an up and over technique to gain the extra height.
It starts well, has a decent fuel capacity and the height adjustment works well.
This mower has cut brambles, both dead and alive, rosebay willow herb (albeit in the above mentioned up and over, then back and forward!), nettles, and various grasses. The only time it has struggled is with compacted grass root sods. Manoeuvrability is okay for a big machine although the front pivot wheel responds better to back and forward motion rather than trying to turn in dense vegetation.
All in all, a good machine and could not do the job with anything less.
