Versatile mower with variable speed now on special offer

Every so often we have brilliant lawnmowers for sale at exceptional prices and here’s one of the best on exclusive special offer.

Made for larger lawns, say up 1500m2, the Einhell GE-PM 53 VS-HW 5-in-1 Hi-Wheel Self-Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower is packed with features and can tackle smooth lawns and rougher areas equally effectively.

For a start, it’s a variable speed machine so you can mow at the pace which suits the lawn – faster on smooth straight runs and more slowly on curving lawn edges and tougher, thicker grass.

Then, there are five ways of dealing with the cut grass. For formal lawns you can collect the clippings in the massive 80-litre grass box or mulch them.

When you are dealing with small paddocks or orchards the cut grass can be discharged at the back or side and laid out to in neat rows.

There again, for the areas where appearance doesn’t matter at all, you can just let the cut grass fall down under the mower.

Powering it along is a Briggs & Stratton 150cc engine, dead easy to start and with a large fuel tank.

And Einhell’s own Vortex technology has a cutting deck and a specially-shaped blade to produce power air currents under the deck – this leads to better collection of wet grass and helps with the discharge of the cut grass to the back or side.

It also forces each blade of grass upright to lead to a better and more even cut.

There are six cutting heights from 25mm to 70mm and the handles can be adjusted ad there are different positions for cleaning and storing the mower – there is even a cleaning tool included.

Then it has a built-in carrying handle to make it easier to get into the boot of the car.

It costs £399.95, a huge saving of £200 on the recommended price and it has a two-year warranty from Einhell, leading German manufacturing company of garden machinery. It is delivered FREE and comes with FREE oil.

One purchaser summed up the machine by saying ‘The machine was easy to assemble and started straight away. Despite the larger size, this mower is easy to handle and having the lower speeds enables one to negotiate obstacles. The quality of cut is excellent and the whole thing seems to perform very well, with its Briggs and Stratton engine.  I have used it for both the main lawn, with a very short cut and roadside verges which had been neglected for some weeks, with great results in both cases.’
