Batten down the hatches and ready the defences, snow has been forecast to hit the UK.
The Met Office thinks some parts of the country – particularly higher ground in Scotland and the north-west – will be affected by a light snow shower in the coming hours.
While this probably won't be the biggest load of the powdery nuisance we get this winter, it is still important that gardeners take the necessary precautions.
Any potted plants you have left outside to gather rain should be brought in as to avoid exposure to icy droplets and, as you might expect, mowing the lawn is probably an idea you should shelve for the time being.
However, don't be too sad as the poor weather is expected to pass by evening time Wednesday (November 20th), so it won't be long until we can get back out there and tend to our beloved shrubs, plants and, of course, lawns!
