For slightly larger lawns, say up to the size of a tennis court, there is the MD 46SP Self-Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower.
This one has a cutting g width of 18 in and a larger grass box which can take 60 litres.
The engine on this one is 135 cc and cutting heights are from 27 to 72 mm, so again it can handle all manner of lawns and longer edges. This has a throttle control to you can regulate the revs according to the mowing task.
Again there are ball bearing wheels which will not stiffen as they get older and handles that fold down.
The maker’s recommended retail price is £299.95 but we have for sale at £140 less at just £159.95.

And the third in the range is the MD 51SP 3-in-1 Hi-Wheel Self-Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower.
This one has the added advantage of a mulch plug which means cuttings can be chopped down to the size of tea leaves and dropped back on the lawn where they rot down and form a valuable fertilizer.
The cutting width is wider again- 21 inches making it sutable for larger lawns and there are ten cutting height options from 24 mm right up to 90 mm for the longer stuff.
The engine is a smooth running 163 cc one and there is a larger fuel tank to keep you mowing longer.
The grass box holds 65 litres and the high wheels mean it can handle rougher areas much more easily.
