Long grass and scrub with brambles and gorse can be the devil to clear, even with the strongest of strimmers.

It has a narrower 87 cm blade made from hardened steel whith the edges protected so you can work tight against walls and fences and the height can be adjusted.
It has a single-speed power working and height adjustable handlebars.
It costs £855 and comes with a free manufacturer’s pre-delivery inspection worth £90.
Delivery is within two to three working days and it has a two year warranty.
And their top machine is the Al-Ko BM5001R-II Powerline Scythe Mower, delivered assembled and ready to use, which has a which has a 190 cc Briggs & Stratton engine.
This one also has a reverse gear, useful for getting out of tight corners, and has a cutting width of 102 cm – 40 in – and wide profile tyres to tackle rougher terrain.
The transmission is enclosed to give it a longer working life. And you can but other attachments to make this a more versatile piece of garden equipment.
