Listers Volkswagen (VW) Coventry have given the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust a substantial boost … in the form of an eco-friendly VW Golf made to look like a Hedgehog!
While this might be one of the strangest donations to a charity that we've heard about this year, the environmental foundation is thrilled at its new acquisition.
Hedgehogs are in decline across the UK and activists at the organisation want to raise funds to help schools across the region to be able to change their campuses to be more friendly to the little creatures.
As part of this effort, the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust now drives from one educational establishment to another in their unique vehicle, telling kids about the challenges facing our prickly friends!
Kate Sugden, fundraising manager at the charity, commented: "The hedgehog car from Listers has provided a great talking point as well as a wonderful resource for the trust."
