A new range of garden tractors from a leading Swedish engineering company has just come on to the market combining power and performance for larger estates.
The Stiga Estate Tornado Multiclip Lawn-Tractor is aimed at paddocks and lawns of up to 2.5 acres and is an all-purpose workhorse machine for year round use.
The cutting deck is 98 cm side and can be adjusted to give seven cuttingheights from 80 mm down to 35 mm. Wide tyres mean the damage to formal lawns is minimised.
You can keep working even when it’s murky thanks to twin headlights and as a safety device there is a contact breaker which cuts the engine when the driver leaves the driving seat.
This lawn tractor costs £1899 compared with the maker’s recommended price of £1999. Plus there are a number of really useful accessories at special prices like a dethatcher, aerator, roller and leaf sweeper.
There is also a tractor cover you can buy for £36.
Delivery is free within five to seven working days and there is a two year warranty from Stiga.
The Stiga Estate Master Lawn Tractor is a well-built machine with top features and a Briggs & Stratton 344 cc engine with an anti-vibration system to make it easier to use over longer periods.

The five speed gear box is ideal for all sorts of terrains and cutting heights range from 25 to 80 mm through seven stages.
This one has a 240 litre grass box fitted with an alarm which sounds when it needs emptying.
Aimed at lawns up to 1.5 acres it has a large fuel tank and 84 cm cutting width.
Our price is £1799 – the manufacturer’s recommended price is £1999 – and there is a range of optional extras including a grass deflector plate for use when cutting larger areas of longer grass.

And now the Stiga Estate Grand Royal 22 Lawn-Tractor, the top one in the range aimed at larger lawns and estates of up to five acres.
This one has a really wide 122 cm cutting width with two blades which give a strong airflow in the cutting deck to help with effective mulching and gives excellent clippings collection in the 320 litre grass box even when it’s wet.
The engine has hydrostatic transmission to give very precise speed control from its 656 cc Briggs & Stratton twin cylinder engine started with a key.
There is bags of power to use this model with a variety of attachments and a full dashboard with dials to show RPM and fuel and battery levels.
Headlights keep you working when it gets gloomy and the engine cuts out when you leave the driver’s seat, a useful safety feature.
