Two rugged machines to help with the winter clear-up and pruning

The Ardisam Earthquake CS6V Petrol Chipper-Shredder

currently on special offer, has chipping knives which will take branches up to 50 mm and turn them quickly to wood chip.
It is designed so that the branches are pulled into the cutting mechanism and the shredding part of the machine has swinging triangular hammers to deal with the green waste.
There is a 6 hp Viper engine designed to provide little vibration for a longer life.
There is a generous 70 litre collection bag and the whole machine is really solid being mounted on large wheels with a low centre of gravity for added stability.
An optional vac kit is available.

This one has a 10 hp Briggs & Stratton and can handle really large amounts of debris and small branches.
This has free-swinging triangular hammers, reducing the debris to a twentieth of its original volume.
It can take twigs and branches up to 5cm in diameter and draws the branches into the machine once introduced, a useful time saving device.
It too has a 70 litre collection bag and there is an optional vac kit.
This one costs £849 compared with the recommended price of £899.
