Hints & Tips
So. An exciting, confusing couple of weeks since an election result that had everyone looking at each other in puzzlement and going “What the…?”. No outright winner, no idea what is going to happen, confusion and paranoia reign supreme. Ah. Democracy is a peculiar mistress.
I’m happy to say this is NOT the case with our own mini-election competition. No hung parliaments and dead ducks in our constituency. We asked customers on Facebook to vote for either the Einhell GC-PM 46 S-M Petrol Self-propelled Lawnmower or our very own 40v, Lithium-ion battery powered cordless Redback E137CQ-2-AH Lawnmower.
The competition was a stunning success with more than a thousand voters and the results were as clear as a bell made of very clear glass. The Redback won with 822 votes against the Einhell petrol mower which got 379. It really does seem as though people are seeing battery power as the future, particularly for smaller, urban gardens.
Our lucky winner of the winner, so to speak, was one Ali Fanstone, chosen at random from all of the Redback voters, and who you can see in our main picture looking proud of the job she has just done on her lawn.
Ali recently posted the picture on our Facebook page with these comments…
“Thank you, what a great mower, arrived very quickly, and made short work of our lawn, easy to use and light too. Very happy”
Well, thank you Ali, and congratulations once again. Another happy Redback owner and another glowing endorsement of this lightweight, emission free, machine exclusive to MowDirect in the UK. Other customers have been coming forward recently with similar comments…
“Well recommended mower from a well recommended seller at a very Good Price” “Excellent…cannot fault in any way,…Ten out of ten and would definitely recommend it.”
With it’s 37cm cut, ergonomic handle-bar design and striking livery it is efficient, comfortable to use and looks great too. Oh, and the handles fold us so tightly, storage is a breeze. It also offers single-lever height adjustment and a roomy and easy to empty grass-collector. And all for £229.00 including battery and charger. That’s a saving of nearly £120 on the RRP.
I think we can safely say that this very contemporary mower, partially developed by MowDirect is gradually garnering a loyal fanbase, along with the other cordless tools in the range, like the Redback E312D Cordless Grass-Trimmer. “Lightweight and Effective tool Good performance and overall ease of use...” as one purchaser puts it, or the
Redback E920D Cordless Pole Hedgetrimmer “GREAT!…It’s not noisy but very powerful. I have cut through 20mm stalk thicknesses, and there is no degrading in power, right up to when the battery runs out, when it just stops.”. Another happy customer.
Some customers, it seems, are becoming collectors… “Excellent…I now have all the products in this range, The build quality is good, and the performance excellent!”
Redback tools are an important part of the growing cordless revolution, creating user-friendly, low vibration, lightweight garden tools that free users from both fumes and emissions and cables, while providing genuine petrol-matching power.
The full range includes hedgetrimmers, mowers, grass trimmers a very impressive chainsaw “It went through a 6″ fence post like the proverbial knife through butter. Very pleased.” wrote one customer.
There is also a leaf blower that has even impressed professional gardeners “a new leaf blower on the block – and it’s well worth a puff..as a professional gardener: I get seriously weary of the din generated by those temperamental little two-stroke blowers. But the Redback? No worse than a slightly boisterous vacuum cleaner, so the neighbours will like it too.”
You can see the full range of low-priced, high powered Redback tools here. and if you need some help and impartial advice on these, or any other of our ranges of garden equipment, just give us a call on 0345 4588 905 (9am-5pm Mon-Fri 10am-4pm Sat) and one of our product advisors will be happy to help you.
“Fantastic Service… honest and pointed me in the right direction to make sure I got the right tool for the job.”
“Absolute fantastic customer service from purchase to delivery. Very helpful and pleasant staff.”
And in the meantime. Enjoy your garden…especially you Ali Fanstone. Drew Hardy
