From collecting to mulching at the flick of a lever

Toro is an American company which makes all manner of equipment for maintaining large areas of land like parks and golf courses.

But with this mower all that is necessary is flicking a lever. The mower can also discharge to the side, a useful attribute when cutting longer grass in less formal areas.

A Briggs & Stratton 190cc engine provides the power and this is very easy to start.

The cutting blade is thin and very sharp to give the lawn a neat finish – cutting heights are from 25mm to 102mm.

Another great feature of this machine is that it automatically matches your walking speed – up to 4mph.

If you want to collect the clippings this mower has a very large grass box which holds 74 litres.

It costs £419, £110 less than the maker’s recommended price, has a two-year warranty and it is inspected before delivery.
