Hints & Tips
This week’s Mower of the Week is on a special limited offer and represents outstanding value to be bettered anywhere for a similar spec machine
The Warrior 18SP Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower has a Briggs & Stratton 500 Series engine with Ready Start technology and low fuel consumption.
It has four ways of dealing with the clippings, either ejecting them at the side or back, or mulching them and returning them to the lawn or collecting in the 60 litre grass box.
There is a steel cutting deck powder coated for a longer life and heights of cut from 25 mm to 80 mm, so it can cope with all sorts of mowing challenges.
And add to that wheels mounted on double ball bearings that gaud against stiffening with age. Plus handles which fold down for easier storage and a throttle to control the revs.
We think there is not a batter-value-for spec machine on the market currently but we only have a limited quantity so if you want to snap up our mower of the week, you’ll have to be quick.
It costs just £239.95 a full £160 off the manufacturer’s recommended retail price. We deliver it free the next working day and there is a two-year warranty from the makers.
Updated June 2018 – this mower is no longer available but for a selection of great quality and value petrol mowers, see these pages.
