Three push mowers from Sweden which mulch the clippings

Swedish engineering company Stiga has just introduced three top quality hand-propelled mowers which are perfect for smaller lawns and have top specifications for push machines which mulch clippings.
The Stiga Multiclip 50 Push Lawnmower

has the company’s own 140 cc engine giving backs of cutting power and yet is very fuel efficient and keeps vibrations to a minimum.
This clippings are mulched and returned to the turf to rot down, providing nutrients to the plants and saving on trips to the compost heap with a grass box.
There are five cutting heights from 31 mm to 75 mm and the steel deck is powder coated for a longer life.
As a safety device it has a dead man’s handle which cuts the engine when released.
It costs £239, and that’s £20 less than the maker’s recommended retail price.

Another machine from the same company which mulches clippings is the Stiga Multiclip Pro 50 SVAN Push Lawnmower, a real professional tough machine, but this one has a 160 cc Honda engine which gives great power which has minimum vibrations and is quiet when running.
The cutting deck is made from galvanised steel and is powder coated to give longer life. This mower is ideal for mowing around obstacles and along narrower paths and is ideal for odd-shaped borders.
There are five cutting heights from 31 to 75 mm and a useful feature is an adjustable handlebar to help you mow close to walls and fences.
This one costs £529 compared with the maker’s recommended price of £559.

And the third new introduction from the company is the Stiga Combi 48B Push Lawnmower and machine which can either mulch the clippings, discharge them at the back or collect in a 60 litre grass box.
This machine has the advantage that it can be used even when it’s wet and has a 158 cc Briggs & Stratton engine which is smooth when running and has electronic ignition leading to very easy fast starting.
This is another hand-propelled mower which is ideal for lawns for complicated border edges around paths and flower beds.
The deck is made of strong steel, is powder coated for a longer life and has large wheels mounted on ball bearings.
There are five cutting heights from 27 to 80 mm.
This one costs £259, £20 less than the recommended retail price and has a two year manufacturer’s warranty.
