The STIHL FSE 31 and FSE 41 Electric Grass Trimmers are lightweight models ideal for smaller-sized gardens. They can be used for mowing down overgrown grass along fences and around obstacles such as flower pots. Each model has a pivoting mowing head allowing you to use these grass trimmers as lawn edgers. There are also two bigger-sized models available which are particularly suitable for larger urban or suburban type gardens where noise may be an issue. The STIHL FSE 60 and FSE 81 Electric Powered Grass Trimmers have powerful electric motors and can be used for tackling the overgrowth found in neglected areas of your garden as well as trimming grass along borders and lawn edges. One of the unique features we really love about these two grass trimmers from STIHL is that they are equipped gauge wheels to help prevent excessive wear to the nylon line when trimming near solid objects – great for anyone who has been frustrated by speed with which the line on their trimmer can sometimes appear to be all used up.
Next in the new STIHL line-up of electric garden tools is a range of high quality electric hedgetrimmers designed to deliver the very best in performance and offer comfortable operation at all times. The STIHL HSE-51 electric hedgetrimmer is the entry level model in the range and is ideal for smaller sized gardens where only light trimming is required. The remainder of the range provides you with a choice of model for just about any size garden or hedge type where a low noise, zero-emission electric hedgetrimmer is required. The STIHL range of premium electric hedgetrimmers – models HSE 61/71/81 – are equipped with a choice of engine and blade sizes and feature unique rotating handles which not only provide greater comfort but also offer you the control required for a more precise cut.
If you have tall hedges which you are unable to reach the tops of or have low down shrubs to maintain then you might find a solution with STIHL’s new Long Reach Electric Hedgetrimmers. These units have heavy-duty cutting heads and are the only electric powered long reach hedgetrimmers on the market that will provide you with the performance and trimming capability of a petrol powered machine but without the noise and emissions. Finally, STIHL have launched a new electric powered vacuum shredder which again is ideal for residential areas due its low noise levels. The STIHL SHE 71 Garden Blower-Vaccan be used for tidying up leaves, grass cuttings and other garden debris found on drives and pathways as wells patio areas and flower beds. It houses a shredding impellor which reduces leaves and other debris to an impressive 1/12th of its original size. The resulting mulched material is ideal for compost.
