Popular lawn tractors from Mountfield back in stock

Many of you decided to invest in a lawn tractor last summer to such an extent that some of the more popular ones sold out.

But the good news is that two of the best sellers are now back in stock from one of Britain’s favourite garden machinery companies, Mountfield.

Their 1530 Lawn tractor comes with both the manual gearbox, the 1530M and automatic, the 1530H.

These have an 84 cm cutting width and twin cutting blades to give a smooth finish even when the grass is wet.

They have 452 cc engines which have low vibration levels and the oil is pumped around the moving parts to give better lubrication and a longer life.

The grass box holds 240 litres and can be emptied without leaving the driver’s seat and the tyres are deeply patterned to give a good grip when it’s wet.

With both models you receive a mulch plug worth £105 and a tow bar worth £63.

Both the manual and hydrostatic models are delivered free within two to three working days and have a five year warranty from Mountfield.

The manual model costs £1599, £200 less than the recommended selling price and the hydrostatic one costs £1799.

The Mountfield 1538H-SD Lawn & Garden Tractor is still on special offer with the same 452cc engine and like the two above will take on larger lawns up to 8000 sq metres.

As it is a side discharge model it is suitable for people who have paddocks or orchards where the grass needs to be kept down but it also has a mulching function for the formal lawn where the clippings are shredded to tea leaf sized pieces and dropped back on to the lawn where they rot down.

Cutting heights are from 25 mm up to 80 mm and the cutting width is 98 cm. And you receive a tow bar free of charge to extend the use of the machine to a year-round workhorse.

It costs £1599, £300 less than the recommended price and has a five year from Mountfield. Delivery is free within three top five working days.
