Two new mowers from a top New Zealand manufacturing company have just come on the market.

These mowers are renouned as for their excellent engineering and top design and both have long warranties.

The Masport 250 ST SP Combination Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower has three ways of dealing with the clippings – mulching, collecting in the 46 litre grass box or discharging at the back

The mowers has a Briggs & Stratton 158 cc engine with a special muffler to make it quiet when running.

This mower has a very low minimum cutting height – right down to 10 mm, just the mower you want of you prefer your lawn to have a neat, tight finish.

It costs £299, is delivered free the next working day and has a three year warranty.

And there is a 10 litre free jerry can absolutely free.

The Masport 350-ST SP Combo Power-Driven 3-in-1 Petrol Lawn Mower also has the three ways of dealing with the clippings, including mulching, an increasingly popular way of dealing with them, trimming them down and returning them to the lawn where they rot away and form a valuable mulch.

This one is designed so that the cutting width is extended beyond the wheels letting you mow right up to the edges of lawns.

There is also a washport allowing you to attach a garden hose to clean the underside of the deck.

It has a cutting width of 46 cm – 18 inches – and the cutting height again goes right down to 10 mm.

It costs £329, £30 off the maker’s recommended retail price and has a two year warranty from Masport.
