Winter’s not done with yet so here are three great snow blowers on special offer

This one takes in the snow with a revolving metal augur and forces it into the body of the machine where an impellor takes over to blast it clear – hence the term dual stage.

This one has a 182 cc engine and four forward and two reverse gears and can clear to a width of 55 cm. The intake height is 50 cm so it can deal with heavy falls of snow very quickly.

The exit chute turns through 190 degrees and there is a deflector to alter the pitch of the stream of snow. Both are operated remotely.

Front snow skids under the chute can be adjusted according to the underlying surface and it has special tyres to eliminate slipping and sliding.

It too is a dual stage machine and has five forward and two reverse gears. The chute rotates 190 degrees and the snow is blown up to eight metres away. Adjustable handlebars mean you can fix working height to its most comfortable position.

The front hood has an intake height of 50 cm and the clearing width is 56 cm.
