The Lawnflite MTD96 Lawn Tractor might have a generous 96cm width-of-cut, but it’s nevertheless highly manoeuvrable, with its super-tight 46cm turning-radius ensuring trees, complex borders and challenging corners can be negotiated without problem. The drive wheels are substantially larger in diameter than the front wheels, so you’ll have ample traction on damp ground.

The powerful but fuel-efficient 420cc MTD four-stroke OHV engine on the MTD96 drives a Transmatic transmission that gives you the sought after Shift-on-the-Go capability – simply select your preferred ground-speed, start moving, and then when you apply the brake, the tractor will slow accordingly, before returning automatically to the speed you’ve pre-selected when the brake is released. This means you’ll be able to complete the job far more quickly than you would with a stop/start manual-drive tractor.

Ostensibly a side-discharge machine (deflector included), the Lawnflite MTD96 Lawn Tractor can be converted to mulching or collection with the purchase of the necessary accessories (mulch kit and/or grass catcher).

It has five-stage height-of-cut (30 – 95mm), so you can create different finishes on different parts of your lawn, if desired; and it’s fitted with a pivoting front axle, which guarantees a neat and even cut on undulating terrain.

To aid maintenance, Lawnflite have provided a forward-folding removable bonnet, which comes away in a single piece.

Turf-saving tyres combine with anti-scalp deck wheels to prevent gouging during turns on uneven ground; ergonomically laid-out controls and an adjustable seat combine to make the job as comfortable as possible.
