What sort of capacities do salt spreaders have?

Obviously the sizes of hoppers vary greatly, but a typical entry level push type salt spreader will have a capacity of around 22kg moving up to perhaps 60kg or more on larger models. 

On tow behind models there is similar variation, with smaller models holding perhaps 39kg moving up to large tow behind salt spreaders with capacities of around 80kg or even more. * 

* Large industrial tow behind salt spreaders can, of course, have even larger hopper capacities of several hundred kilograms.
