Push type or tow-behind salt spreader? What type do I need?

That depends entirely on your budget, the type of area you need to cover, where it is and whether you like a brisk walk. 

Tow-behind salt spreaders are often larger and can cover a wider area, but generally the main difference is one of convenience and common sense.

For example, it makes sense to use as push type spreader if you are spreading on an area near by your house or office. If however you have to travel across a large garden, estate or grounds to spread, a tow behind is a good idea.
