What are the advantages of a submersible pump?

Submersible pumps will be powered by electricity. They are a sealed unit and have a waterproofed power source so can be placed under the water to be pumped during operation, this means they can operate more efficiently than other types of pump. 

They have a high capacity, are low maintenance and economical for drops of 25 metres more

They pump water by using direct pressure to propel the water and so can move water further than other types of pump. 

Submersible pumps are self-primed.
