Turbine cut or drum shredder, what Is the difference & which sort of waste is appropriate for each?

A Turbine cut (as used by some of the Bosch models) is a description of an enhanced version of the impact system, i.e. a spinning blade that works rather like a food processor.

Turbine cut shredders have strong reversible blades and can handle both soft foliage, leaves, grass etc, as well as woody branches.

Drum shredders have, as the name suggested,  a spinning drum, which draws in material and crushes it, ideal for larger branches but, again, also capable of shredding smaller stuff and, by the very nature of its mechanism, self-feeding.
