Chainsaw Chains with .404" Pitch

Found on powerful professional chainsaws, .404" Pitch saw chain will usually have a gauge size between .058-.063" (1.5-1.6mm). The gauge of a saw chain is the thickness of the part of the chain which sits in the groove of the guide bar. The thickness of the link must match the width of the guide bar groove so that the chain exactly fits the bar. You'll probably find it difficult to measure this accurately and we would advise you consult your manual to correctly identify the gauge of the chain if you are unsure.
