With its expansive 122cm working-width, this towed-type unit from garden-tractor attachment specialists Agri-Fab will deal quickly and efficiently with large-scale dethatching applications.

Its 24 heat-treated spring tines are highly durable and will gently but comprehensively remove any matted grass-clippings and lateral rhizomes (or ‘thatch’) that might be inhibiting your lawn’s growth. Once the surface build-up has been lifted, sunlight, water and air will be able to better penetrate the root network, in turn enabling the grass to flourish.

The Agri-Fab 45-0295 Spring-Tine Dethatcher is fitted with a weight tray that you can ballast, should a deeper working-depth be required. A handy cantilevered transport-handle makes it possible to lift the tines when crossing areas that don’t need dethatching.

This model sits on a pair of large-diameter wheels with semi-pneumatic tyres for smooth operation on bumpy terrain; and it can be used with a garden tractor from any manufacturer.
