Providing true petrol-matching performance is a latest-generation 24v (4Ah) lithium-ion battery that gives and extra-lengthy 95-minute run-time; and which is free of the memory-effect and self-discharge problems that inevitably come with inferior ni-cad and lead-acid units.
The Stiga SHT24AE is fitted with a pair of expansive 57cm blades which are double-sided for speedy left/right trimming; and laser-cut for a super-sharp edge and a clean cut with no damage to the subject-plant.
A twist-grip rear-handle facilitates low-effort multi-angle cutting; while an operating-level of just 87dB(A) makes for a more comfortable working-environment.
This model weighs just 3.2kg and has vibration levels of only 1.94m/2; a combination that makes it far easier to handle than any comparable petrol-chainsaw.
