If you have a business, a large household or an educational establishment, or practise to run, the last thing you need is to be shut down by a fall of snow. But it happens, year in year out. People are frequently unprepared and closed doors mean lost sales, blocked paths mean frustrated customers and slipping accidents can bring lawsuits.
The very powerful and highly efficient Stiga 1581 HST Commercial Dual-stage Snow Blower can solve these problems by clearing snow and ice from your forecourt or driveway very quickly and effectively.
The weather resistant engine, is rigorously tested to start in harsh weather, in temperatures down to - 20°F, and was developed by renowned engine manufacturers Briggs and Stratton, specifically for use in snow clearing equipment. It is a 420cc Pro Series model utilising advanced overhead valve technology, increasing fuel efficiency and producing quiet, smooth, environmentally friendly power.
The fuel tank takes approximately 6.7 litres so you have to fill-up less and can get the job done quicker.
The starting handle for the recoil start is oversized, encouraging and facilitating use of gloves or mittens when necessary.
Like all dual-stage Snow Blowers, the Stiga Pro 1581 HST Commercial Dual-Stage Snow Blower has a powerful, 36cm diameter auger at the front, under the snow intake hood, which rotates smashing up the snow, and pushing it back to an impellor. This auger is very heavy-duty cast iron, with teeth to break up any type of snow, even compacted snow and ice.
The second stage is an impellor, a kind of spinning fan, welded for extra strength, with four-blades to whip up the broken snow and send it swiftly up and out through the snow exit chute. This dual-stage action is very efficient and will clear a lot of snow, particularly with the working width of 81cm and the snow intake height of the hood being 50cm.
The hood has adjustable skidshoes so you can raise the hood if you need to clear snow on gravel or shingle or other loose surfaces without throwing debris around. The skidshoes are reversible so you can swap them over and get extra wear out of them before replacing.
EZT Hydrostatic transmission means you can control speed with infinite detail, without traditional jolting changes and combined with trigger steering makes manoeuvring around obstacles, into and out of corners and awkward spaces very easy and fast.
The snow exit chute rotates through 200° so you can direct the stream of smashed snow you wish and both the chute and the deflector which alters the angle of the stream, are electrically operated from the control panel, so you can operate on the move.
Controls are laid out ergonomically and comfort features include height adjustable handles, so you can work at a comfortable height without either bending or stretching and heated grips
A powerful headlight allows you to work in poor lighting conditions and the wheels are fitted with 16", tough Arctic Track tyres with deep patterns for added traction on uneven and slippery surfaces.
This top commercial model comes with a weatherproof cover included and a manufacturers guarantee.
