SCH are known for manufacturing rugged, durable, large-scale garden and agricultural equipment from tow-behind spreaders and scarifiers to rollers and leaf sweepers. This three-way chain harrow is a case in point. It is designed to be used to level the tilth or cover seeds, as well as preparing a seedbed and removing debris from the grass.
The design of this particular, three-way harrow differs from many other chain harrows in that it can be pulled in three different directions for a more efficient and comprehensive overall harrow. The tines protrude in such a way that if pulled in one direction they carry out an aggressive pass but if the tow bar is changed to the other end the tines protrude less for a more passive harrow. The chain can then be turned upside down for levelling grassy areas. This offers an unusual amount of flexibility and offers very good value for money.
Easier to pull than conventional chain harrows, the SCH 3WCH5 has a working width of 153 centimetres, enabling fast and effective coverage of larger lawns, sports fields or other grassed areas.
Mounting is via standard ring, which will fit over a 50mm ball hitch, with an optional ball hitch available.
