Delivering that petrol-equivalent power is a 40v (6Ah) lithium-ion battery-pack that's the largest in the Redback range; and which utilises cutting-edge cell-technology from a top-end Japanese manufacturer.

The battery runs for a substantial 120-minutes on a single charge and won't fade when not in use.

The blades on the Redback E522DQ-6Ah Cordless Hedgetrimmer are double-sided for a fast lateral cutting-action; and laser-cut for a super-clean cut and to ensure they remain sharp and effective over time.

A twist-grip rear-handle means you can adjust the working-angle so as to avoid adopting an unnatural body-position when tackling awkward hedges; while transparent hand-guard ensures accurate cutting by providing a clear view of the area you're trimming.

The Redback E522DQ-6Ah incorporates a quick-stop blade-brake which halts the blades the moment the trigger is released, thereby maximising operator-safety.

It's equipped with overload-protection, so you won't have to worry about motor-damage should the going get particularly tough; and it combines an large handle with an oversized trigger so as to facilitate gloved use.
