Driving your chosen cutter-head is a high-capacity 30cc two-stroke air-cooled motor that puts-out a hefty 1.3hp; and which has been equipped with a translucent fuel-tank for easy monitoring of the fill-level.
Unusually for a brushcutter in this attractive price-bracket, the Racing 30PB features a ‘U’ (or ‘cowhorn’) handlebar; the type preferred by gardening professionals due to the natural lateral ‘sweeping’ action they facilitate.
The line-head on the 30PB incorporates a handy bump-feed mechanism, so you won’t have to waste time attending directly to the spool when you need to refresh worn-out line.
This model carries a reassuring two-year warranty for both labour and parts; and is supplied with a comfort-optimising shoulder-harness. -

Disappointed The brushcutter is good. However let down by very poor delivery service from courier used by mowdirect who have failed to respond to email about my concern. I need to order more equipment but will not use mowdirect unless assurance is given that delivery service will be secure and improved.

Racing Away I bought this because I thought it was good value for the money. I don't have to do a great deal of strimming or brush cutting but need a machine for occasional use. My impression is that it has been developed for people like me. The occasional user. Not sure if it could stand constant day after day use. But I haven't tested it that much.
A good feature is the ability to split the long shaft, this makes it easier to transport and to store. But when you put it together locating the drive shaft into the receiver can be a bit fiddly. I also found the balance point on the shaft with the shoulder strap a bit difficult to find and adjust, compared to my old one. There is a quick-release buckle on the point of attachment from the strap to the machine and unless you can get the balance point right it keeps disconnecting.
Overall great value for money but I would say for occasional use. -
Good Value for Money, Good Results I bought this trimmer to replace a short lived McCulloch model. Half the price and seems a much easier trimmer to get an even finish on trimmed areas. Arrived very quickly and no trouble to put together.
Recommended.
