Good value tool but has one problem.
I bought this Racer 2525 10” chainsaw as a stop-gap while my 14” chainsaw was away being repaired. For £100 it was obviously of Chinese origin, and I didn’t expect it to last long. However, it is quite robust and works very well, apart from being a little tardy when warm starting (as are a lot of 2-strokes.) And there is a design flaw, this being that there is a simple wire linking the throttle lever to the carburettor instead of the usual Bowden cable. The formed curve of this wire causes it to bend when opening the throttle, which makes the butterfly valve spring open suddenly, and can stall the engine. I made a simple modification which prevented it from bending. I am now very pleased with this machine and find it more useful than I ever expected, often using it one-handed for chopping up branches. The included petrol bottle is very handy, too. A nice thought.
