Perfectly balanced handling combined with rugged build-quality and a top-handle-type configuration make the Italian-engineered Oleo-Mac GST250 Petrol Chainsaw a great choice for the professional arborist.
It comes equipped with a powerful 25.4cc two-stroke air-cooled engine that produces a substantial 1.2hp, and which employs Oleo-Mac’s EasyOn technology for a smooth pick-up with no danger of ‘kickback’.
No-tools filter-cover removal makes day to day maintenance that much easier; a roomy 0.23-litre fuel tank serves to reduce time lost due to refuelling stops.
The Oleo-Mac GST-250 Top-Handle Petrol Chainsaw’s compact design, optimised centre of gravity and ultra-lightweight build (2.8kg) all work to make it highly manoeuvrable, and therefore ideal for space restricted in-tree work.
It incorporates a lateral chain tensioner, which makes it quick and simple to adjust the chain if you’re in an awkward working position; and it’s fitted with a belt hook for safe climbing into tree canopies.
To ensure varying wood-types, oils and weather conditions can be managed, the Oleo-Mac GS-260 Top-Handle Petrol Chainsaw has been equipped with a fully adjustable chain lubrication system.
Also important is the cushioned handle, which minimises vibration transfer to the user’s arms and hands.
