Built with strength and durability in mind, the Sealey AK6863B Quick-Release Locking-Pliers Set is manufactured from a combination of chrome-molybdenum and chrome-vanadium steel, finished with a rust-resistant black oxide coating.
Hardened, deeply serrated teeth provide a secure grip on the workpiece at a variety of angles, while the curved jaws apply maximum force to all four corners of a nut or bolt head. This makes the pliers particularly well suited to demanding, high-torque applications.
For improved comfort and control compared with conventional locking pliers, the AK6863B features a convenient one-handed, no-pinch quick-release mechanism.
Deeply knurled adjustment screws provide a firm, positive grip, even when working with greasy or oily hands.
