The Chipperfield T16-38HC is a rear-collect lawn tractor built to make light work of medium-to-large lawns, combining strong cutting performance with genuine operator comfort. A dependable 449cc EV450-B single-cylinder engine — with a cast-iron cylinder sleeve for extended engine life — delivers smooth, high-torque power, while the 6.3-litre fuel tank keeps downtime to a minimum.
A foot-pedal-controlled hydrostatic transmission removes the clunkiness of manual gears entirely, letting you glide between forward speeds up to 9 km/h and reverse up to 5 km/h. Paired with a tight 600mm turning radius, the T16-38HC steers neatly around beds, borders and awkward landscaping with real agility.
At the heart of the machine is a 95cm stamped twin-blade deck that produces a clean, even finish, with electronic PTO engagement so you can start and stop the blades safely from the seat. Six cutting heights from 25mm to 100mm are set through a sturdy lever-and-rail mechanism, ready for whatever the season brings.
