Whatever woodcutting jobs you’re looking to tackle, from DIY, hobby and construction-based applications, through to lopping, firewood creation and smaller-scale felling, this premium petrol chainsaw from Italian garden-machinery giants Oleo-Mac will prove a dependable, effective and easy-handling work partner!
Powering its compact and easy to manage 41cm guide-bar – with .325” Microlite chain – is a super-efficient Emak two-stroke air-cooled engine, which develops a muscular 2.6hp from a cylinder-capacity of just 39cc. Key engine-features include an Air Purge system, which ensures reliable starting from cold; and EasyOn technology, which minimises resistance in the recoil mechanism so as to lessen the pulling-power needed to achieve ignition.
In order to dissipate heat caused by friction and thus extend the useful life of the bar and chain, Oleo-Mac have equipped the GS-411-325 with an automatic oil-pump, the flow-rate of which can be adjusted to suit both the ambient temperature, and the hardness and density of the wood-type you’re working with. A translucent oil-tank makes it easy to keep an eye on the fill-level (the fuel-tank is also translucent).
Perfect balanced, of compact dimensions and benefitting from superior ergonomics, the Oleo-Mac GS411-325 Petrol Chainsaw is easy to control and manoeuvre, and will sit comfortably in hands for the duration of lengthy woodcutting sessions. Machine-weight is a minimal 4.4kg.
Designed with operator-safety to the fore, the Oleo-Mac GS411-325 Petrol Chainsaw incorporates a fast-acting, inertia-triggered brake that prevents ‘kick-back’ by stopping the chain in a split second, should a chain-tooth contact a particularly hard, knotty bit of wood.
A combination of rubber-stops and spring-dampers works to limit tiring vibration-transfer from the engine to the user’s hands and arms; while no-tools component access makes routine maintenance fast and hassle-free.
