Its high-performance 166cc Mountfield ST170 overhead-valve engine is equipped with lithium-powered push-button start, so there's no need to struggle with a starter-cord; while its self-propelled drive eliminates the need to push, so you'll be able to get the job done without expending too much effort.
Built to last, the Mountfield S461R-PD LS uses only top-quality components and is built around a steel deck for outstanding long-term reliability. Its rear-roller will leave a professional-style striped finish and allows you to mow along lawn edges without fear of the mower tipping over. The cutting-height can be set to five positions between 20 and 70mm, to suit both the weather conditions and grass-type (adjustment is via a single lever). Other premium features include a large-capacity 55-litre grass-collector, which is made from fabric for compact storage; and an OPC (Operator Presence Control), a safety feature which stops the engine (and therefore the blade) when the main handle is released.

Quality of Machine Good when it finally arrived. Ordered a Mountfield S461R-PDLS Power Driven-Roller Lawnmower a week before lockdown over the Covid19. Although the invoice arrived by e-mail no delivery date was provided.
Machine didn't arrive for two months albeit everything stopped on the 24th March.
The delay wasn't the problem it was the lack of communication i.e. There wasn't any!
A trusted operations manager is needed to ensure continued service.
Machine arrived in first class condition and instructions were easy to follow although putting the grass box together took some working out. -
Battery and Oil A very well built product, assembly of the grass box took some working out! That was much easier when one understood the instructions were for two different boxes! Machine assembly was straightforward. The 48 hour charging time and the 12 hour standby time proved inconvenient. Getting the oil into the machines sump had to be done in several sessions to ensure the sump was not overfilled. I have not used the machine yet because of the instructions 'do not use on wet grass'. Not understanding what would happen if I did, I adopted the cautious approach.
