The Mountfield MM-48LI is a long-reach unit that comprises both hedgetrimmer and pruner attachments and will prove a great buy if you need to work at height, but would rather not use ladders.

The Hedgetrimmer attachment consists of a 50cm double-sided laser-cut blade-set that will handle growth up to 20mm in diameter; and which pivots through seven-stages so as to ensure you’ll be able to achieve an ergonomic working-angle for any given hedge.

The pruner attachment is a compact 20cm chainsaw-head with a generous 10cm cutting-capacity; and an automatic-oiler to keep things running smoothly (a translucent oil-tank facilitates at-a-glance checking of the fill-level).

Thanks to its three-section split-shaft, the Mountfield MM-48LI Cordless Pole Pruner/Long-Reach Hedgetrimmer can height-adjusted to suit the task in hand.

It’s lightweight and well-balanced, so will prove easy to control and manoeuvre; and it’s supplied with a shoulder-harness that will lessen the burden when you’re tackling large-scale jobs.

A choice of two 48v batteries is offered: 2Ah / 4Ah. Battery and charger must be purchased separately.
