Description

Built to commercial specifications, the powerful yet easy handling Mountfield BC 450 H Petrol Brushcutter is nevertheless priced at a level that makes it a justifiable purchase for those working to a homeowner budget.

Supplying that power is a Honda GX50 engine; an ultra-lightweight 50cc four-stroke OHC motor which you’ll find far quieter, smoother running and way more economical than two-stroke units with a similar displacement (and of course, there’s no need to waste time preparing a fuel/oil mixture).

A pressure-driven lubrication system keeps wear and tear to a minimum for an extended service life; a transistorised-magneto ignition system means consistently dependable starting, no matter what the situation.

The Mountfield BC 450 H 4-Stroke Petrol Brushcutter is a versatile machine, with Mountfield’s provision of a line head and a three-tooth metal blade enabling you to take-on both light grass-trimming and heavier-duty scrub and bramble clearance.

It’s constructed around a thick, 26mm-diameter shaft, which confers superior robustness, and it’s fitted with an ergonomic ‘loop-and-bar’-type handle, which has been vibration-isolated for the best possible user comfort.

Also important on the Mountfield BC 450 H 4-Stroke Petrol Brushcutter is its bump-feed system, which does away with the need to attend directly to the cutter head when the 2.8mm nylon line has to be advanced.
