Product information

Description

Built using traditional engineering-techniques and boasting a level of refinement that’s hard to beat, this high-end petrol rotary-mower from Morrison will prove an attractive prospect for the more exacting domestic gardener.

Supplying the power is a Briggs & Stratton 300-Series engine; a high-performance 125cc four-stroke unit with an overhead-valve configuration for reduced vibration, emissions and fuel-costs; and a premium oil-foam air-filter for an extended service-life.

B & S’s Prime 'N Pull™ E-Z Starting System will see the engine fire-up after just three presses of the primer-bulb; while their provision of a Lo-Tone™ muffler makes for a less stressful working-environment.

The Morrison Surecut is a three-in-one machine capable of either collecting, mulching or rear-discharging clippings, thereby ensuring you’ll be able to manage a diverse range of grass-conditions.

It comes with a fabric grassbag (42-litres) that lets air escape so as ensure it gets packed to full capacity; and it features single-point height-of-cut selection, so making the necessary adjustments is super-simple (a lowest setting of 15mm makes it possible to achieve an impressively close-cropped finish).

With its lightweight, compact build and hand-propelled design, the manoeuvrable Morrison Surecut 3-in-1 Petrol Push Lawnmower is ideal for smaller lawns where there are obstacles and awkward corners to negotiate.

Larger-diameter rear-wheels make it easy to turn in long grass and provide a smooth run on bumpy ground; while a foldable handlebar means you can maximise available space in your shed or garage.

Morrison lawnmowers are available in the UK only through MowDirect.

Well Engineered. Excellent Performance Delighted to be the owner of this excellent mower.

Prompt delivery from order. A little fiddly to assemble but no big deal. You have the security of the Briggs and Stratton engine which will run for ever. Solid construction. Easily adjusted mowing height. Really useful mulching option. Ease of attachment and removal of grass collection bag.

All in all an excellently engineered product which will likely run for ever!

Good Petrol Mower The mower was delivered on time, as promised. My husband didn't have too much trouble with the assembly, it just needed a little bit of patience.

I found the mower light and very easy to use. I'm very pleased with the ease with which you can fold the handle down for transportation as I use it at my allotment.

As a 70 year old lady I found it incredibly easy to start and easy to change the height of cut with just one lever. I also loved the mulching block as I can now mow my allotment paths without the need to keep emptying a basket.

I found it easy to clean afterwards.

Great Value Product Swift delivery, well packed. Easy to assemble, and started first pull. Would have liked to have had a simple statement as to how much oil to put in rather than search the manuals.

Ideal for a small to medium garden.

Great Bought this lawnmower for my husband as our other lawnmower was rubbish, it's just the right size for our garden and he just loves it. He knew about the engine (Briggs and Stratton) and is well impressed. Once assembled, it started with the first pull.

I would recommend it .

A Good Little Light Mower I've not had to buy a mower before and have lived off hand-me-downs. I spent a lot of time reading around first and speaking to those in the know. A Briggs and Stratton engine seemed the way to go. I've not been disappointed.

As another reviewer said, the assembly instructions are poor, but a little common sense puts it right. I'm grateful for the oil that came with it to. Once set up and primed very easy to use. So far, I'm pleased with my purchase. Only 2 cuts done though.

A Good Quality Small Petrol Mower Very happy with service, ordering was easy plus delivery was spot on.

I am very pleased with this little Morrison petrol mower I was close to getting the HP414 Mountfield hand propelled one but am glad I chose this one in the end.

Reasons I chose this one: 1. I wanted quite a lightweight, small petrol mower for storage, with folding handles, that I could easily put in boot of car. 2. I like the fact it has a Briggs & Stratton engine over the Mountfield engine. This does not mean the HP414 is not a good engine but B&S engines are known for reliability. 3. The mulching facility will come in handy when I keep the grass short so I feel I am getting more for my buck with these features over the HP414.

On the cons side, the manual instructions were not helpful at all. They were confusing and not easy to work out. It seemed like information was missing for this model. if you have had experience putting mowers together before it could be a piece of cake., but not for me.

Back to the positives, In the end I got it assembled and up and running and it is easy to start , with just one pull on the cord, once you prime it three times. It comes with oil to put in engine so that was one less thing to worry about.

I enjoy using this mower, it's very light and easy to use. It came well packed in the box and when put together It is sturdy and well built to last a good few years of mowing. I would recommend it. I hope this is helpful.
