Measuring an expansive 2.26m in length, this high-performance long-reach trimmer from Mitox will enable gardeners of any stature to trim and shape the tops and sides of tall hedges safely and comfortably - no ladders required.
Powering its compact but fast-working 40cm double-sided blade-set is a powerful 24.5cc (1hp) Mitox engine with a full-crank for increased torque-output and durability in the face of continuous high-RPM operation (vibration is also minimised).
Premium heat-treated gearing contributes further to longevity; while Mitox’s provision of a primer-bulb and choke ensures you’ll have no starting-trouble.
The Mitox SELECT 26LH-SP Long-Reach Hedgetrimmer is built around a two-piece shaft, which you can split to save space when storing or transporting.
It benefits from a padded front-handle that provides a firm, comfortable grip with reduced vibration-transfer; and it features a 150° articulating cutter-head (12-stages) for the convenient trimming of sides, tops and ground-cover.
Perfectly counterbalanced by the engine and weighing just 6.5kg, the 26LH-SP excels in terms of control and manoeuvrability.

Good Value for the MoneyReview by Richard Cleave / (Posted on 05/07/2016)The trimmer arrived a day after ordering it & was simple to assemble. It came with full instructions & helpful hints on use & was put to work at once.
It's easy to start but does need to be on a flat surface to accomplish this. Tore its way through my mature Laurel hedge, easily cutting branches of a significant diameter & the adjustable cutting angle was a blessing.
It is described as a good entry level long reach trimmer & I would agree with this, if there is any downside it does, like all petrol driven trimmers, become heavy to use after a period of time, but the sling/harness provided does take some of the strain.
A good quality product that I have no hesitation in endorsing
