It’s powered by a very high-performance Honda engine that's been selected for its ability to cope with the rigours of intensive commercial use. The engine’s overhead-valve design ensures fuel costs, noise, vibration and emissions are all significantly reduced when compared to lower-spec side-valve engines.

The Lawnflite-Pro 553HRS Rear-Roller Lawnmower is shaft- rather than belt-driven, so torque-loss is minimised and durability is maximised.

It features a high-specification alloy mower deck, which combines lightweight strength with inherent corrosion resistance; and it comes equipped with a very high-volume 75-litre grass catcher, which works to extend runtimes between breaks for emptying.

Grass collection on this model is fan-assisted, so you’ll be able to achieve a fantastically neat finish, even when working with damp grass.

A time-saving blade-brake clutch means you don’t need to stop and restart the engine each time the catcher needs to be emptied; a variable height-of-cut means changing grass- and weather-conditions won’t prove a problem.

Thanks to heavy-duty steel roller, the Lawnflite-Pro 553HRS will leave a pronounced banded finish and won’t tip over when mowing along the edges of flowerbeds and veg plots.
