The high-specification Kawasaki-powered BK27E offers the ideal combination of powerful performance and lightweight handling, so will appeal whether you’re a pro landscaper or a domestic gardener looking to regularly take-on heavy-duty brushcutting applications.
Driving it is a top-quality 27cc Kawasaki air-cooled two-stroke engine that’s fitted a special noise-reducing exhaust for a less stressful working environment; and which boasts a length-optimised piston for a marked cut in fuel-costs.
The Kawasaki-powered BK27E Brushcutter is supplied with a triple-tooth brush-blade and a nylon-line strimmer-head as standard, so it’s as at home tidying lawn-edges and fence-lines as it is attacking large areas of dense scrub and nettles (the line-head has a handy bump-feed mechanism).
Its large-diameter aluminium shaft confers impressive durability and helps to keep the weight down to just 7.2kg; while its comprehensive vibration-damping measures; ergonomic ‘loop’ handle; and comfort-enhancing shoulder-harness combine to ensure even lengthy landscaping sessions won’t prove overly tiring.

Line Feed Doesn't Work ProperlyReview by Carl / (Posted on 27/05/2015)Easy to assemble but fuel tank cap was missing, however MowDirect got one to me in a day.
The machine works well except for the line feed which is now down to one line only as the other has not reappeared after a bump feed attempt. Manual doesn't have any instruction on how to fix this and it seems that you cannot open the line holder.
