Works well, better with larger branches Arrived with a bottle of lawnmower oil included, 60Cl as stated on the box (600ml).
Easy to assemble but you might need to get a second pair of hands to remove it from the box unless you chop the box flat around it.

Works well with medium to large bits of material, clogs quite easily with dried out conifer bits.
However it is easy to unclog, spark plug lead has a handy bobble so it can be disconnected if you want extra safety with the cutter exposed.

My tip is to get a better tool to remove the cover bolts, an 8mm hex key with a T-Handle makes this a 30 second task.
The supplied Hex key will do the job but I prefer to use the best tool for the job.

I have been through about eight bin fulls and only had to unclog it twice, maybe I will get better at feeding it the smaller stuff and it works really well on sycamore sapling shoot.
As soon as the cutter gets hold of this particular wooden weed it auto feeds perfectly which is satisfying to behold.

Makes less noise than my mower, gets a bit noisier when actually shredding but none of my neighbours has complained, one has asked to borrow it already.

Good so far This does a very efficient job of chipping woody waste. Due to the nature of the long hopper it's slightly more problematic chipping tangled or springy plants, and some time needs to be spent prepping your waste to make sure it fits through the slot. Just a warning it is quite top-heavy when moving over rough ground. It is a bit tedious unbolting the hopper if a blockage occurs, but these are minor gripes given how industrious and effective it is. Well built, and, and a relatively small footprint given the size. The chippings are great for building up heat in a compost bin, by the way.

Freedom We got one of these so we did not have to plug it into the wall to make it work, this means we can take it around the garden and shred stuff where we want. It has been great and gives us the freedom we needed

Box says 60ml oil but it takes 600ml - don't start it with 60! Started 1st pull and devoured Lleylandii branches with ease producing compostable waste.

It's small and light, will fit in a Berlingo van and go through gates unlike many chippers. Like all chippers, if you feed it too much soft green stuff it will clog, however clearing a blockage (or just cleaning it) is 4 allen screws to take the top off (nice and easy). Also this self-feeds i.e. it pulls branches into itself which is essential for me. Some chippers you have to push branches through which hurts your hands and takes ages.

One feature I would like is to be able to see how full the bin is - as it is you have to slide the bin out to take a look which means starting the engine again. Mechanically it's very well built but I 'm not sure whether the bin is flexible and therefore won't break or just a bit flimsy - time will tell but even if it doesn't last, I'll just chip into a different container. This is a lot of machine for £300 (chippers are expensive) and it does exactly what it's supposed to :)
