Great Piece of Kit
I've been looking for leaf vac like this for a few years and looked at the BillyGoats which were always too expensive to justify for a once a year garden job. Then I saw the Feider at the same price as a rusty 2nd hand Billygoat.
Having bought the Feider i can say there's nothing between the two. The machine is built with durable materials. The engine fires up on the first pull and it vacs like nothing else. The feature I liked too is the in-buiilt shredder which mulches up the leaves and compacts them to avoid all the trips to the compost heap. The Al-Ko didn't have this feature. I also bought the rake attachment which flicks up the leaves that are wet and stuck to the ground.
I hadn't heard of Feider before and suspected it was a Chinese import badged up. But no. they are French and made in France. It comes with a warranty but like all seasonal tools like this you have to look after them and store them well.
