With its in-built decompressor, theEfco DS3500-T Petrol Brushcutter has an assisted starting-system that's integral to the design of the engine, and therefore will stand the test of time. Whereas spring- or battery-assisted starters are dependent on components susceptible to wear and tear, the system employed on the Efco DS3500-T works on the basis of reduced cylinder-compression on starting. This ensures consistently quick-and-easy starting over the full lifetime of the machine.

Operator comfort is also to the fore: an anti-vibration system helps to keep user-fatigue to a minimum; while the specially designed 'bike' handlebars ensure maximum manoeuvrability with smallest amount of effort. In addition, the 28mm diameter shaft has been lengthened by 5cm to ensure the operator can always achieve a comfortable posture.

The powerful 36.3cc (1.9hp) two-stroke engine on the DS3500-T Petrol Brushcutter employs Efco’s unique ‘Burn Right’ technology. It produces 75% fewer harmful emissions than a standard two-stroke engine, and so offers a safer working environment, as well as producing less pollution.

A further advantage of ‘Burn Right’ technology is that the engine uses up to 40% less fuel, saving you a huge amount of money on running-costs during the lifetime of the machine. Furthermore, because the engine produces less carbon, the maintenance intervals are far longer, which means your brushcutter will spend less time in the workshop and more time in active use.
